Online Catalog and Credit Cards to Make Ordering NIDDK Publications Easy

Many customers of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) information clearinghouses have asked to order publications online and to use their credit cards to pay for bulk orders of materials. In response, the clearinghouse now accepts MasterCard and Visa orders and later in 2003 will launch the NIDDK publications catalog website at http://catalog.niddk.nih.gov. Single copies of most clearinghouse materials will remain free of charge, and government publications are not copyrighted, so you have permission to make multiple copies for distribution if you wish. For customers ordering large quantities of materials, however, these new services will expedite the ordering process. The clearinghouse will continue to accept payment by check, money order, or purchase order.
