NKUDIC Fields More Than 8,700 Information Requests

Between July 15, 2005, and July 14, 2006, the National Kidney and Urologic Diseases Information Clearinghouse (NKUDIC) responded to more than 8,700 requests for information from health care professionals, the media, and the public. Most of the requests came via the Internet or email.

Eat Right to Feel Right on Hemodialysis was the most-requested NKUDIC publication outside of the 61,000 copies of Interstitial Cystitis/Painful Bladder Syndrome that were sent to urologic health professionals. The NKUDIC distributed nearly 23,000 copies of the renal nutrition booklet.
