This 14-page, easy-to-read booklet explains for parents why some children take longer than others to learn how to stay dry at night and whether they should take their child to a doctor. Parents will find options to help their child develop nighttime bladder control and resources for more information.

Urostomy and Continent Urinary Diversion

This six-page fact sheet discusses the normal anatomy of the urinary tract and problems that might require an alternative way of eliminating urine. It describes two types of urostomies— ileal conduit and ureterostomy—and two types of continent diversions—continent cutaneous reservoir and bladder substitute. The publication also teaches readers how to care for their urinary diversion.
